It has been a run of the mill day here. Homeschool then walked to the store for some groceries. Even a run of the mill day is exciting when you live some place new. We go to the library and the Crusty Bun on Mondays. On our walk home we saw a beautiful Gypsy Vanner horse pulling a wooden sulky right down high street. Of course for a horse girl like me that alone made the day special.
We are having a few friends over tonight for some southern food. Grits A Ya Ya, with chicken or shrimp and homemade Key Lime Pie. Mom and Dad brought us a bag of stone ground grits from Georgia so we could make some southern food.
If you would like to make some of these shrimp and grits with all of their southern deliciousness here is the link. They are shared compliments of the Fish House Restaurant. For those of you friends reading this from the beautiful Gulf Coast then just head on over to the Fish House and order ’em up. Much easier that way.

Here is a photo of the Fish House’s dish made up the way it is supposed to be. No telling what mine will look like.
I hope that you are having a beautiful “run of the mill” day too.
Cheers,
Beth
