A week or so ago we had a fellow PHD student, Glenn Packiam, over for supper.  He was here in Durham for a few nights and we invited him over for supper.  During our meal we shared with him our favourite things about living here in Durham.  I told him why I love the cathedral so much.  He returned home and shared my story as a sermon illustration.  He actually sums it up much better than I did.  Listen to the clip below…
