There were so many things now opened at Beamish that we hadn’t yet seen. It may take me a week to tell you about everything we did. One of the joys of being there this particular Friday were all the antique vehicles on property for a weekend exhibition. Cars and their period costumed owners were everywhere. It really added to the feeling that we had stepped back in time. Check out these lovely vehicles. Open these photos on full screen if you can. The details are just astounding.
The Beamish Museum sits in a bowl type valley. It is secluded to the outside world. While at Beamish no part of the modern world is visible. It truly is the closest thing to stepping back in time that we have ever experienced. Enjoy!
Cheer,
Beth
