I told you I had a weeks worth of things to show you from Belsay Hall.  It has been a week since our visit there.  I thought that y’all might want to see a bit of the inside of this grand home.  Downton Abby fans let me ask you a question.  Do you remember in Season 2 when Mary was engaged to the wrong guy and everyone knew it but her?  Do you recall that she and her fiancé toured a nearby estate that they were going to move into?  It was empty and needed a lot of work.  After my tour of the Hall I believe this may be where that scene was filmed.  I am not certain so I would love to hear from some of you deep rooted fans that may have more information than I.  At any rate it looks exactly like that scene.
