I hope all of our stateside friends enjoyed your extra hour of sleep last night. Our clocks in England fell back last Sunday. It is now mostly dark by 4:30 in the afternoon. That is called half four by local brits and 1630 by the bus schedule. 🙂
Today Joshua was ask to read scripture in church. He did a great job reading 2 Timothy 3:16 &17.
After the worship time everyone gathers in the hall for tea, coffee and biscuits. It is a great time of fellowship that we enjoy very much. We did not realise until the fellowship time that one of our new student friends and his family were in worship today. They have two little adorable girls. It was wonderful to meet them all.
This afternoon I am going to try my hand at making some Yorkshire pudding. Yorkshire pudding is not a pudding at all but more like a bread bowl. It is however from Yorkshire. It was created to stretch the families dollar by filling the bread with a little meat and veggies but mostly bread. The young ones would have a full tummy and only a small dent would be placed in the meat supply. If it turns out I will post a recipe and a picture. If it doesn’t turn out you’ll not hear about it again…for a while.
