This morning began with a 2 mile walk.  Here are some scenes from along the way.  As Meg said #WhereWeLive.  I think you can see some of the reasons why we love living in Durham.

As we walked I noticed that the trees and shrubs had those small green buds an the branches.   It seems as if Spring is just bursting at the seams to break forth.  Life and life abundant awaits, nearly hidden from the eye.

That’s one of the things I love about this time of year as we await Easter.  The Resurrection Day Celebration reminds us that Life and Life abundant is now possible because of the resurrection.  As we await it, it seems that we yearn to break free from a winter’s sleep that is soon past.
